Not cheap, but usually worth it.
I think just wine
I put on a nice Pair of slacks and a nice shirt. I dress comfortably and my wife wears her casual church clothes. Dress for the occasion. And the food is absolutely awesome beyond question. You will enjoy everything they serve you and you will not go home hungry but you will bring home a lot of food. The owners will make you feel welcome.

Yes to the side, on the street, and the lot across the street.
No. It's a vintage house transformed into a cozy restaurant with small dining areas. In good weather the outdoor patio might be an option.
This place was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible and the staff were as well. The owner has an amazing collection of history upstairs. If you are in Ft. Walton and looking for a great place to eat, I would highly recommend Magnolia Grill.
If you come to the Destin area, this is definitely a restaurant you'll want to visit! The ambiance here is like none other, in a Victorian age structure with an array of furnishings to match. The food is also superb, with a variety of dishes from Italian cuisine to seafood. I had stuffed flounder, while my husband had the Italian Trio. The server was friendly and efficient as well, and as we left, we were already talking about our next visit!
Absolutely fantastic, beautiful place, beautiful view, had fantastic service regardless of the 12 person party I was in. All in all perfect experience and would go back.
Food was delicious! We went here on a weekday for lunch. This place was too cute with a touch of that southern hospitality. Husband had the Meagan chicken Sandwich and I had the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. We were both pretty full as the portions are a little more than enough. Definately, we'll be back!
Magnolia always has wonderful food and service. This evening I introduced friends from out of town to the restaurant and they loved it.
Total package for a great local restaurant. Delicious menu and great value as well. I especially like how manager or owner comes table side to check on the customers. Highly recommend
Had a great dinner here tonight. DJ was an amazing server. This was our first time here and will definitely be coming back again!
Fantastic dinner place. Amazing food. Had a vegetarian option too. Crab cakes with shrimp Alfredo was just great. Stuffed flounder another awesome entree. A museum upstairs is just an amazing collection of things and memories.
Excellent service and food. The wife had a salad with blackened shrimp and I had the parmesan chicken with pasta. I rated my food as excellent and the wife rated her food as good. Very busy restaurant so reservations are recommended. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was quick considering how busy they were. On busy days, parking may be limited requiring parking further from the restaurant. Highly recommend.
This was an amazing girls lunch! I loved the atmosphere and food was amazing! This is not just an Ruben sandwich, it was a vacation for my taste buds! I can't wait to go back.
Racist StaffGreat food! We enjoyed our lunch yesterday. Unfortunately, we hated the awkward small conversation we had with our waitress. Approaching our table every ten minutes to ask ”Are you guys from South America” and ”Welcome to America” was one of the rudest encounters I have had in a restaurant. Tourism is a significant source of income in the area and yet, you can still find a member of this community with this behavior. A strong diversity and educational training might help your employees achieve better customer service practices. Race prejudice is breaking our country apart.
I had a puff pastry chicken pot pie that was full of fresh veggies and chicken. Finished lunch with cheese cake. Very good. Reasonably priced, excellent setting and service. My friend had stuffed flounder with a steamed vegetable medley. Large piece of fresh fish perfectly cooked.
Basically a museum that serves food. Love the atmosphere. Tom Rice is an amazing individual and advocate for so many great causes throughout the community. Magnolia Grill truly embraces the culture and history of the gulf coast, showcasing a vast array of historic memorabilia and antiques. The staff is amazing and the food is divine.
I would not recommend Magnolia Grill because it wasn’t clean. Our table was dirty, and we witnessed the “cleaning” of tables around us. All they do is brush off crumbs. They don’t sanitize at all. The waitress had to bring us multiple drinks because the glasses were dirty. We found crumbs, black specks, and hair in them. She ended up bringing us styrofoam cups. One of us found plastic on our plate. Our waitress did not wash her hands after drinking out of her personal water bottle. There was a piece of broccoli on a French dip sandwich. We were served a gluten bun when we ordered a gluten free sandwich. Also, the temperature of the building was far too hot.
Great food and atmosphere! Be sure to leave time to look around and go upstairs 😉
Came to this place on my honeymoon. AMAZING SERVICE, great portion sizes (come to this place HUNGRY), fantastic scenery/ambiance and the best key lime pie I’ve ever had in my life.
A unique dining spot in Fort Walton - where one place tends to blend in with the next. I'm a big guy but decided to split the ribeye with my teenaged son. It was honestly one of the best steaks I've eaten in a loooong time - and we still couldn't finish it. Bring an appetite and carry home boxes. Definitely worth spending a little extra for this quaint spot with high quality dining.
Great food and awesome atmosphere with a mini military museum .
